The BCAFM is commited to developing and strengthening the capacity of farmers' markets in all regions of British Columbia. Our key areas of focus are:
- Providing education and training to market boards, managers and vendors;
- Helping promote farmers' markets to the public and key industry stakeholders;
- Initiating and managing research and development activities;
- Delivering a unified industry voice for all British Columbia farmers' markets.

BCAFM Member Markets
Members of the BC Association of Farmers' Markets are those markets whose vendors either make, bake or grow the products they produce. Only the farmer and/or the family are permitted to sell at a member market. Re-sellers are not permitted. At member markets, our focus is on selling locally grown or processed farm-fresh foods, so only a limited number of crafters can be found at our markets. You won't find any imported products. Most of our foods travel from less than 300 kilometres away.
