The market is an old-fashioned, country-style market selling fresh, locally grown farm and garden produce, home baking, honey, soap, woodcrafts, jewellery, and a variety of original items hand-crafted by local artisans. Enjoy hot food and drinks in the sunshine, listening to the live music on our Open Mic Stage. Children's play area and Pony-cart rides. Livestock is present on occasion for sale and display.

Produce is grown without pesticides or herbicides and the market supports sustainable methods and the humane treatment of animals. Information on local food and farming issues is available.

The market has a community focus and was created and built by its members. It is sponsored by the Powell River & District Agricultural Association.
