Universal Seasoning

Use this tasty salt-free seasoning to boost the flavour of your food. Try this recipe on your next patch of Pita Crisps or Popcorn!

This recipe was provided to us by the Evergreen Community Health Centre. A community partner for the Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program where participants learn healthy cooking techniques. This recipe is so simple, we are kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Tbs dried mustard
  • 1 Tbs paprika
  • 1Tbs dehydrated garlic
  • 1 Tbs dehydrated onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Directions:

Mix in a small bowl or cup and store in a salt or pepper shaker.
