Farmers' markets operate in every corner of BC. Reflecting the communities they serve, markets vary in size and type, from large sheltered public markets to a few vendors clustered in a local park or on a parking lot. You'll find an array of fresh produce and fruit, processed foods, arts and crafts. Now that's fresh!
The BC Association of Farmers' Markets (BCAFM) represents farmers' markets throughout the Province. To become a member, vendors must make, bake or grow the products and then sell them at the market. Farmers' markets sell a wide range of farm-fresh, wholesome foods including fruits and vegetables, organics, specialty cheese, eggs, beef, seafood, jams, artisan products, and so much more! Watch for upcoming special events at farmers' markets. Farmers' markets are an important part of communities and make shopping for food a whole lot of fun for the entire family!
