Kimberley Conference Centre

The Kimberley Conference Centre is located at the foot of the Kimberley Alpine Resort ski hill, and is the largest meeting facility in the East Kootenay region, in Ktunaxa Nation.

Accessibility

  • The entire Kimberley Conference Centre is fully accessible and offers reserved parking, several accessible building entrances, ramps, elevators, and restrooms.
  • Braille signage exist throughout the building, doors are equipped with push button controls, switches and outlets are in accessible locations, and they have varying height public phones, as well as a TTY unit.

Hotel: Trickle Creek Lodge

BCAFM Delegate Rates

Delegate rates start at $119/night and will be honoured 2 days before and 2 days after the conference for anyone looking to enjoy a couple of days break and explore the area.

Accessibility

  • Entrance to the hotel is through automatic doors, and elevators reach each floor.
  • All suites have space for wheelchairs to maneuver around easily. There are two fully accessible rooms with roll in showers.

Getting There:

  • By car: Highway 95 will lead you to Kimberley, and is only a 20 minutes drive from Cranbrook's airport
  • By air: the closest airport is the Canadian Rockies International Airport, 25km away in Cranbrook. There are direct daily flights from Vancouver offered by Air Canada connectors and WestJet (under Pacific Coastal Airlines agreement). Direct flights also available from Kelowna.
  • Shuttles available to the conference venue from the airport. More info here.
  • Car rental companies at the Cranbrook airport include Budget, Enterprise, and National
  • Parking: there is free underground parking at Trickle Creek Lodge.
