Serves 4-6
Put apples and plums into an appropriately sized baking dish. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp of sugar if desired. In a separate bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, raisins, nuts and flax seeds. Mix in the butter or oil. Spoon the mixture over the fruit. Bake at 350°F about 40-50 minutes, or until the fruit is bubbling and soft and the topping is golden brown.
