BCAFM Buy Local Campaign 2014 - Research Report

This summer marks the launch of the BCAFM's Buy Local campaign. With funding support provided by the BC Ministry of Agriculture, Investment Agriculture Foundation and Vancity, the campaign will run from late June to the end of July and will focus on increasing consumer awareness through the use of new and traditional media.

We aim to develop a campaign to increase awareness of farmers' markets and visits to farmers' markets by women 25 -45 years of age who are infrequent farmers' market shoppers.

The campaign will be based on research conducted by Context Research Ltd, including an online survey and focus groups in four BC locations.
