Local Flavours, Familiar Faces!

Farmers' market vendors are independent business people who make, bake or grow your food. Some of these folks make their entire living from the products they sell at farmers' markets. For others, selling at farmers' markets is a hobby gone wild! All of our vendors are passionate about the foods they grow and deliver to you.

Karen Brandson — Wyndson Farm, Abbotsford

Wyndson Farm / Karen Brandson - vendor

We live on a hobby farm in the Bradner area of Abbotsford. From a young child, I have always loved to make things. I started selling my items at the Mt. Lehman Country Market 11 years ago, and was involved for many years in the operation of that market. I am currently a vendor at the Abbotsford (Saturday) and White Rock (Sunday) Farmers' markets, and have been a director in both organizations. I offer for sale a wide variety of jams and jellies, many made with our own, naturally produced fruit. I also have a large display of sewn items, including heavy-duty shopping or book bags, as well as aprons, tea cozies, and bibs. I grow flowers, which are sold in arranged bunches, and also sell herbs, particularly basil, as well as salad greens and arugula. Any extra produce or fruit from our garden is brought to the market, including plums, apples, pears and potatoes. Look for our wild blackberries (not roadside!) in August.
